Gretchen Schwarzwald Distilled Dry Gin, with an alcohol content of 44% vol. and sold in a 0.7-litre bottle, is not only an excellent gin, but also the result of a special love story. This gin, produced at the historic Alfred Schladerer distillery in the Black Forest, traces its origins back some 50 years. The story begins with Alfred Schladerer, who took over his parents’ distillery and fell head over heels in love with the wonderful Greta. To prove his love to her, he dedicated the Gretchen Dry Gin to her – a tribute to his great love and to the aromatic diversity of the Black Forest’s natural landscape.
The recipe for this premium gin is based on 18 carefully selected botanicals, including fresh berries, delicate blossoms and aromatic herbs, which blend together in perfect harmony. The Black Forest provides the ideal backdrop for this gin, as the crisp air, dense forests and variety of native herbs lend it its unmistakable character.
