The Ron Zacapa Centenario Ámbar 12 Sistema Solera Reserva is an elegant premium rum from Guatemala, matured using the elaborate Sistema Solera process. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in a generous 1-litre bottle, it represents the high art of rum production for which Zacapa is famous worldwide.


Only the so-called "Virgin Sugar Cane Honey" is used for the production - a particularly pure sugar cane juice that forms the basis for the fine flavour. The rum matures for up to 12 years in various types of cask, including ex-bourbon casks, former sherry casks and wine casks, which give it its aromatic diversity. Ageing takes place in the Guatemalan highlands, where the special climate ensures slow maturation. The Ámbar 12 is lighter and fruitier than other Zacapa bottlings and was developed for connoisseurs looking for an elegant, versatile rum.
