Togouchi is produced by Chugoku Jozo, a distillery in the town of Togouchi in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The distillery is situated within a natural cave system that was originally built as a railway tunnel but was later converted into an ideal environment for maturing whisky. The cool, humid conditions in the tunnels provide an optimal climate for whisky maturation, resulting in a product rich in flavour and character.

To produce Togouchi 15 Years, the distillery uses a unique blending process in which the finest Scottish malt whiskies are carefully selected and combined with Canadian grain whiskies. This blend is then stored in oak casks, where it matures for over a decade. This lengthy oak cask maturation process results in a smooth and flavourful whisky that is highly regarded by whisky enthusiasts worldwide.
