Dos Maderas 5+3 Years Old Double Aged Rum is a unique premium rum that develops exceptional depth and smoothness thanks to its special ageing process. Made from a high-quality blend of Caribbean rums from Barbados and Guyana, it undergoes a two-stage ageing process that gives it its unmistakable character. Firstly, the rum matures for five years in the Caribbean in former bourbon barrels before being aged for a further three years in sherry barrels in Spain. This so-called double ageing process, which takes place in the famous Williams & Humbert bodega, ensures a harmonious fusion of tropical fruitiness and gentle sherry sweetness.

With an alcohol content of 37.5% by volume, this rum is particularly smooth and accessible without losing any of its depth of flavour. The combination of the spicy oak barrel maturation in the Caribbean and the sweet, complex sherry maturation in Europe makes it a versatile pleasure for rum lovers.
