Behind this fine rum is the traditional Albert Michler Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Founded in 1863 in Silesia, Czech Republic, the company has established itself over the decades as one of the leading producers of premium spirits in Europe. Only the best rums from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and the Dominican Republic are used for the Austrian Empire Navy rums.
