Founded in 1995 by Hans Reisetbauer, the Reisetbauer distillery has established itself in Axberg, Upper Austria. A special feature of the distillery is its focus on sustainable agriculture: all the raw materials required for production are grown and harvested organically on the company's own fields. The entire process, from bottling and labelling to packaging the bottles, is carried out manually and with the utmost care. When Hansi Junior joined the company, it underwent modernisation, which is reflected in the new design of the packaging, labels and brand name, combining tradition and innovation.

The robust "Mulan" wheat variety, which is grown and carefully harvested in the fields of Upper Austria, is used to produce Axberg Vodka. The Mulan wheat variety is characterised by its clear structure, natural fruit sweetness and the absence of added sugar, characteristics that make it ideal for the production of Reisetbauer Axberg Vodka. The traditional pot still process, carried out in copper kettles, is used to distil until a perfect distillate is produced. The result is an extremely pure and crystal-clear vodka that retains a fine flavour despite its purity. The use of frost and sterilisation filters removes all unwanted cloudy substances and flavours in order to meet the high quality standards.
