Bacardi, founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862, is one of the most renowned rum brands in the world. Don Facundo Bacardí Massó acquired the first BACARDÍ rum distillery in Calle El Matadero on 4 February 1862 and revolutionised rum production with innovative processes that are still used today. Using high-quality ingredients and a unique yeast strain known as "La Levadura BACARDÍ", he created an unmistakable flavour profile.

Bacardi Gran Reserva Limitada is carefully selected from the finest barrel-matured rums in the Bacardi family. Only a few drops of a younger rum are added to achieve perfect balance and harmony in flavour. The older rums bring rich oak and caramel notes, while the younger variants lend fresh, tropical fruit flavours.

The bottling is strictly limited and each bottle is personally signed by the Máximo Maestro de Ron Máximo, Manuel Oliver. Each bottle also bears the bottling date and bottle number, which emphasises the exclusivity and special character of this fine rum.
