Description
The Inchgower 14 Years Old FLORA & FAUNA is a rare Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle, and forms part of Diageo’s renowned Flora & Fauna Collection. Founded in 1871 by Alexander Wilson & Co., the Inchgower Distillery is today best known for its important role in the production of well-known blended Scotch whiskies such as Johnnie Walker and White Horse. Only around 1 per cent of annual production is bottled as a single malt, which is why original bottlings such as this one are rarely available. The Flora & Fauna Collection offers whisky enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the distinctive character of traditional distilleries, whose distillates are otherwise predominantly used in blends. Matured for 14 years, this whisky is an authentic example of the classic Inchgower style.
The Inchgower 14 Years Old FLORA & FAUNA impresses with its harmonious balance of fruitiness, spice and maritime influences. Its well-balanced character and creamy texture make it a versatile Speyside single malt that appeals to both connoisseurs and collectors of the Flora & Fauna series. This rare original bottling is best enjoyed neat, allowing its multi-layered bouquet to unfold fully.
