Since 1999, the Slyrs distillery has stood for excellent whisky expertise originating from the picturesque region of Schliersee. The Slyrs single malt whisky port cask finish, bottled at 46% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle and also comes in an elegant gift box, reflects the rich tradition and craftsmanship of the distillery. The whisky is made from the best Bavarian grain and Alpine spring water and is initially matured in new American white oak barrels.

For the finishing, Slyrs uses port wine barrels from the renowned Douro Valley, which give the whisky an additional dimension of rich, fruity flavours. These casks, in which fine port wine previously matured, make a decisive contribution to the complexity and depth of the whisky.
