Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company of the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, also known as the Silicon Valley of India.

The group was founded in 1948 by Mr Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small liquor blending and bottling plant.

Amrut Whisky prides itself on being the first single malt whisky from India. Its name means "nectar of the gods/life" and reflects the exceptional quality and flavour of this whisky.

The Amrut Kadhambam is one of the many bottlings of Amrut whisky. The Amrut Kadhambam single malt whisky is matured in three different types of cask: Bangalore blue brandy casks, rum casks and Oloroso sherry butts.

Each of these casks adds to the complexity and diversity of the whisky by imparting its own characteristic influences.
