The Dalwhinnie 15 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 43% is one of the classic bottlings from the Scottish Highlands, combining refined elegance with a subtly smoky, malty depth. This 15-year-old single malt is produced at the Dalwhinnie Distillery, which lies at around 326 metres above sea level, making it one of Scotland’s highest-altitude distilleries. The region’s cool climate ensures particularly calm maturing conditions, allowing the whisky to develop slowly over many years. This long maturation period has a decisive influence on its character and gives the Dalwhinnie Highland Single Malt its balanced blend of honeyed sweetness, heather, fruit and gentle peaty notes.

At 43% ABV, the Dalwhinnie 15 Years Old is harmonious, approachable and yet full of character. It is precisely the interplay of 15 years’ cask maturation, the cool Highland climate and traditional production methods that creates a whisky which harmonises sweet and spicy notes with a subtle smokiness. Honey, bourbon vanilla and ripe fruit are balanced by a slightly peaty maltiness, which is particularly noticeable in the finish. The 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box emphasises the classic presentation of this bottling and makes the whisky an attractive choice as a gift. For lovers of mature Highland single malt Scotch whisky, the Dalwhinnie 15 offers a traditional style with excellent balance and pleasant depth.
