Cardenal Mendoza Carta Real Brandy de Jerez is a specially matured speciality from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. The wine spirits selected for this bottling are matured for over 25 years using the traditional Solera method, which gives them their distinctive depth and complexity. American white oak casks, previously used to age Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry, are used for the ageing process. These former sherry casks play a key role in shaping the character of the Carta Real, combining the long cask ageing with the typical influences of the historic sherry region of Jerez.
