Santa Teresa 1796 Triple Aged Solera Rum is a premium Venezuelan rum produced at the historic Hacienda Santa Teresa in the Aragua Valley. The name ‘1796’ refers to the year the hacienda was founded and thus to the company’s long history. A distinctive feature of this bottling is the complex triple-aged process, in which different ageing phases are combined. First, the rums used are aged separately in casks before being blended together and further matured using the Solera system. Finally, the blend undergoes a further resting period in large oak casks. This multi-stage process is an essential component of the distinctive character of Santa Teresa 1796.

For Santa Teresa 1796 Rum, various molasses distillates are used, produced using both column stills and pot stills. The combination of different distillation methods and matured rums results in a complex composition that focuses on balance and structure.
