The Signatory Vintage STRATHISLA 10 Years Old The Un-Chillfiltered Collection 2016 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, selected and bottled by the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The spirit originates from the historic Strathisla Distillery in Keith, Speyside, Scotland, whose history dates back to 1786, making it one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries still in operation. The year ‘2016’ refers to the year of distillation, whilst the age statement of 10 years indicates the whisky’s statutory minimum maturation period. Signatory Vintage is known for carefully selecting casks from various Scottish distilleries and showcasing their individual characters in distinct ranges.

This bottling is part of the Signatory Vintage The Un-Chillfiltered Collection, whose name already describes a key feature: the Strathisla 10 Years Old is bottled without chill filtration. This preserves the whisky’s natural components, which can contribute in particular to its texture and original cask character. With an alcohol content of 46 per cent, this bottling also boasts the robust strength typical of this Signatory series. The 10-year-old Strathisla Single Malt is presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box, thus combining the traditional Speyside distillery with Signatory Vintage’s independent bottling concept. The combination of Strathisla, 10 years’ maturation, the 2016 vintage and a non-chill-filtered bottling makes it particularly appealing to enthusiasts of distillery-specific and independently bottled Scotch whiskies.
