Kirk and Sweeney XO Dominican Rum Edición Limitada No. 5 Organic is a strictly limited-edition premium bottling from the Dominican Republic, which stands out clearly from the brand’s regular bottlings thanks to its exceptionally high cask strength of 65.5 per cent. It is made from certified organic sugarcane molasses, from which the rum is distilled and then matured for many years in carefully selected oak casks under tropical climatic conditions. The intensive tropical cask ageing contributes significantly to the pronounced depth and concentration of this Edición Limitada No. 5. It is then bottled at cask strength, which preserves the powerful character of the matured distillates particularly well.

The Kirk and Sweeney XO No. 5 is also bottled without additives and without chill filtration. At 65.5% ABV in the 0.7 l bottle, which comes with a gift box, this special edition is aimed particularly at experienced rum connoisseurs and collectors who prefer strong bottlings. The combination of organic-certified sugar cane molasses from the Dominican Republic, tropical long-term maturation, cask strength and limited availability forms the key distinguishing feature of this edition.
