The ageing process for Plantation Rum El Salvador 2015 begins with five years’ storage in bourbon casks, which imparts a harmonious ester content of 35 g/hL. This is followed by a two-year period of further development in FERRAND casks, before it acquires its characteristic finish through a one-year maturation in Pineau des Charentes casks. In 2023, this exclusive rum will be bottled with a dosage of 6 g/L, which emphasises its aromatic complexity and distinctive characteristics.
