The Samaroli Magnifico MACALLAN Single Malt Sherry Wood 1989 is an exceptionally rare bottling from the renowned independent Italian bottler Samaroli. This single malt was distilled in 1989 at The Macallan in Speyside, Scotland, and has been matured over several decades. At the heart of this release is sherry cask No. 6690, whose influence plays a decisive role in shaping the character of this exclusive vintage bottling. The whisky was only bottled by Samaroli in 2022, meaning there were around 33 years between distillation and bottling. The combination of a historic Macallan distillate, a long maturation period and a carefully selected cask makes this bottling particularly appealing to connoisseurs and collectors of old Speyside single malt whiskies.

The limited edition of the Samaroli Macallan Vintage 1989 is particularly exclusive: just 306 bottles were bottled from the selected cask. At 42% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, complete with a gift box, Samaroli presents a strictly limited-edition rarity from one of Scotland’s most internationally renowned distilleries. The Italian independent bottler Samaroli has been renowned for decades for its selection of exceptional whisky and rum casks and enjoys an outstanding reputation, particularly amongst collectors. The Magnifico Macallan 1989 Sherry Wood brings together this selection philosophy, the long cask maturation and the distinctive sherry cask character. The limited run of 306 bottles and the 1989 vintage further underline the special collector’s value of this bottling.
