Rum Malecon Añejo 18 Años Imperial is an 18-year-old rum with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box. The long ageing process in selected oak casks is at the heart of this bottling and gives the rum its distinctive maturity and complex structure. Malecon bases its rums on the traditional Spanish-influenced rum style and, with the Reserva Imperial, focuses on particularly long cask ageing. The distillate is given a full 18 years to interact with the oak and develop its own distinct character. Within the Malecon portfolio, the Reserva Imperial 18 Años is one of the established premium bottlings and has already won several awards for its quality at international competitions.
